It is Less Convenient Than Toilet Attachment Bidets
Even though there's better control which could lead to a better clean, it is still harder to clean with since you will have to stand usually to clean yourself. With the toilet attachment you can remain seated while using the bidet. With the hand held one it might be difficult to remain seated. If you prefer to remain seated then the regular toilet bidet attachment is better for you. Another reason it is less convenient is because you have to reach out to get the hand held bidet and for those who have limited motion, it might be difficult for them to reach out and grab the bidet. With a regular toilet seat bidet, it does not require much movement since all you have to do is push a button to activate it.
Bathroom Cleaning
For those that have a bidet hose, they can use it as a way to wash your bathroom. Since the hose can move around you can wash your toilet with the hose and clean it. Since most hand held bidets have different pressures, using the highest pressure will do a great job cleaning. With the regular bidet, you can't use it to clean your bathroom since it is stationary and can not be moved. This is another benefit of the hand held bidet.
As you can see each bidet has its own benefits and detriments. Its up to you to decide which bidet is right for you. If you prefer more mobility then the hand held one is right for you. But the downside of the hand held bidet is that it is harder to wash your self without standing up. Depending on what you want, each one is good.
